UPDATE: USGS...
did record an earthquake near Princeton BC.
Yup, that
2-second long (short?) shake that
I felt around 3:30 this morning was confirmed to be an earthquake.
This Castanet story confirms that others felt it too...at around 3:30 a.m. overnight.
But
CBC's reports of three earthquakes on July 5th--15 days ago--didn't indicate anything today for this area.
One thing seems certain...the
Pacific Ring of Fire is experiencing quite a bit of action over the last few weeks.
No damage at our house...not even a rattle of dishes/glasses.
Just a short shake of the bed...
