The "Trudeaus Truth"

At least an accurate comment.
But it's not about the current "WE" fiasco that involves the present Trudeau family.

This comment is a backgrounder from a well-informed individual:

"#147 Ace Goodheart on 07.18.20 at 11:28 pm
T2’s grandfather was an oil man. T2’s family money comes from petrochemicals. Without that cash, T1 would never have been Prime Minister, and T2 would probably never have been born.

The Trudeau’s got their cash from oil.

T2 is now in full rebellion against his grandfather, shutting down Canada’s oil and gas sectors.

His father, somewhat the wiser man, tried to nationalize Canada’s oil and gas industries.

T2 is trying to destroy them. They are to be replaced by “green energy”, electric car companies (that do not exist in Canada) and from what i can tell, a lot of fairy dust and pixies.

Canada (and the Trudeau family) made its money off of natural resources. If we allow T2 to shut down our resource industries, we had better make sure he has something planned to replace them, other than trips on Greta’s borrowed yacht.
Otherwise, there will be no industry left to tax………"

"Us Real Indians"

Some difficult issues are occurring in Canada, and it involves indigenous peoples.
Will a solution arrive before damaging Canada's economy?

Saw this on a blog posting this evening.
This was posted to Facebook today by a native from Alberta, a Mr. WunFeather, February 15, 2020 at 2:24 p.m.

This post is gonna hurt some feelings.
I am good with that.
I am totally tired of people who say stupid things like “Give us back our land”.
Like seriously.
I like to look them in the eyes and say:
“Ok. If you had your land back, what would you do with it?”
I will wait for the answer.
Have you ever taken the time to use google maps and look at the huge tracts of Federal land that are not being used for any purpose at all?
No one is trapping any beavers on the land.
No one is hunting wolves or coyotes, or any other fur bearing animal on that land.
Very rarely do you ever see anyone hunting anymore.
If we compare that land to the land owned by the Hutterite Colonies, you would shit yourself if you saw what they are doing on their land.
They have hay and oats and barley and grain, and they run large herds of livestock and flocks of domestic geese and chickens.
Well, ever since I was 18, I have owned my own home.
Seriously!
I bought my first mobile home in Fraser Lake BC and darn it all, it was mine.
Nobody gave it to me.
I never held my hand out for it like a pet monkey in a zoo.
I earned it.
And I have never, ever, EVER been without at least one house on land ever since that day.
I guess you could say that I am the kind of Indian who just goes to work every day, and buys my own piece of land with the money I earn at my job.
I have every single right that anyone else in Canada has.
Oh.
But because I am a status Indian, (I am non Treaty.) That means even though I am Status, I am not bound by any treaty agreements or obligations.
I have WAY more rights than most Canadians.
Firstly, I have the right to be free.
I have the right to become educated if I want to.
I have the right to freedom of speech, and I have the right to every single privilege that any other Canadian has.
But that is not where it ends!
I can hunt and fish and trap and do significantly more than all my non Indigenous friends do.
No one has ever stopped me from trapping animals for subsistence on crown land.
No one has ever stopped me from hunting for subsistence on crown land.
No one has ever stopped me from gathering medicines, plants, fungi, berries or roots for traditional or ceremonial purposes.
So if I can do all those things like my ancestors did before me, why would I want to have that land back??
Isn’t it actually already mine to use anyway??
Only, unlike the land that I have bought for myself over the years, I do not have the burden of paying property taxes on the land where I harvest my moose.
I just drive out there, walk a few miles along a river amongst the red willows, and when I see a bull moose, (I don’t take cows because they make baby moose), I decide if it is the right one for the freezer.
Here I am with a couple of wolves in this photo.
I can use the meat, skin and tan the hide, and I can use the fur to make a nice blanket or for the top of my moccasins.
Yep. I still have those too!
You will never hear me say that you owe me any land.
As Canadians you have already given me the most important things.
And that is the freedom to carry on my Indigenous culture and traditions on Crown Land.
I don’t want my land back.
I already have purchased my own, and I have the rest of the Canadian Boreal forest to do anything else I want to do.
Thank you Canada.
That is more than enough for me.
Oh. Just one more thing.
Thanks for not standing in my way when I go to work each day.
That would really suck if you did that.
And I promise not to stand in your way either.
That’s what us real Indians call “A GOOD TRADE".

If only this man were actively involved in the indigenous community...
The rest of Canada could use his help...

Change is Needed...October 21st is our Opportunity

Man, oh man, do we ever need a change in Ottawa!!

This arrived via email today:

"Interesting reading before casting a vote in the upcoming election.....

View from the West

I am a fourth-generation Canadian who has lived in Vancouver for most of my almost 80 years. I have always believed that I resided in a place that represents the world’s best geography: one of the largest land masses, thinly populated, resource-rich. It is next to the world’s most powerful nation and yet far enough from the squabbles of Europe and the travesty that is occurring in the Middle East.

We are also among the freest countries in the world, including freedom of religion, assembly, movement and trade.
Considering our preferred positioning, Canadians should ask themselves a few questions. Why is investment rapidly fleeing Canada?

Consider that in the past five years, the amount of Canadian business capital invested abroad has exceeded the amount of foreign capital invested into Canada by more than $150-billion.

Why is economic growth so low? The average annual rate of economic growth since the Liberals formed government is 1.8 per cent – barely above population growth – and the Bank of Canada projects an annual GDP growth of just 1.3 per cent this year.

Why are politicians celebrating disastrous job numbers? While Statistics Canada announced more than 80,000 new jobs last month, nearly three-quarters were part time, with full-time employment actually decreasing by 7,500 jobs for those over 25.

Worse still, nearly 35,000 women lost full-time employment.

Internationally, because of respect earned over a century, Canada belongs to many international organizations such as the British Commonwealth, NATO, G8, G20 and the Organization of American States. As a result, when we have a respected and qualified prime minister attending, we are able to punch above our weight and contribute positively to the discussions of the day, to the pride of Canadians. (To include examples from both major political parties, take Lester Pearson and Brian Mulroney.)

Unfortunately, our present foreign affairs team seems to have failed to perform to traditional standards and, in the case of India, brought Canadians ridicule, embarrassment and huge costs.

Our leader’s recent international contributions seem to have denigrated our nation in the eyes of many in the global community.

With all our natural advantages, Canadians are seemingly mismanaging a wonderful opportunity. Our citizens are Canada’s shareholders, and clearly they should vote for a change at the top so we can restore our economy, our unity and our spirit.

Second Term for Trudeau?

Many people hope not.

It's frankly unbelievable how he has managed to screw up so many things in such a short period of time.

The following arrived in my Inbox this morning.
It's an interesting--and probably not complete--list of his screw-ups:

Why would anyone want Trudeau back as our Prime Minister
- Your minister of finance engaged in insider trading – should be a 10 year sentence.
- You blew the Asia Pacific deal.
- You blew the helicopter deal with the Philippines.
- You blew the pipeline deal (he's now trying to save himself from it).
- You blew the deal with China.
- You blew the deal with Europe.
- You invited "irregular" immigration and the taxpayer foots the enormous bill for it.
- You alienated the United States – our largest trading partner.
- At the G7 you pledged $400 million to Education around the world along with another $180 million to the Global Partnership for Education in Europe. None of it is going to fix our messed up school systems here at home. Meanwhile education costs are skyrocketing for our youth making university a mountain too high for many to climb.
- You pledged $241 million to Family Planning around the world including a $20 million donation to the Bill and Hillary Clinton Foundation (because they have integrity!). This all happened while you told vets that they were asking too much.
- You pledged $2.65 billion to climate change at the Commonwealth Leaders Summit and now you’re trying to bully the provinces into new taxes to pay for this pledge.
- You pledged $300 million to the Rohingya Refugee crisis while we have a refugee crisis of our own flooding into Quebec that you won't address.
- You pledged $125 million to Caribbean Reconstruction while our own infrastructure in cities is falling apart.
- You pledged $650 million to Sexual and Reproductive health in Haiti and around the globe wanting safer abortions for woman while many women in our own country are left without a family doctor.
- You pledged $50 million to Palestine for flood relief when NB had some of the worst flooding in decades this past spring.
- You pledged $840 million to Syria for Humanitarian Assistance when half the native reserves in our country don't have clean drinking water.
- You gave $10.5 million to a convicted...CONVICTED terrorist in a backroom deal that has lead to another $30.8 million paid out for three others who say they were wrongfully detained.
- You spent $4.5 billion on a 65 year old pipeline, and now the courts have ruled it shut down. Now it's back on (at a delay cost of $250 million) - good investment for Canada you said? (And KM uses that money to build a pipeline in Texas)
- You pressured Jody Wilson Raybould repeatedly & INAPPROPRIATELY with several different high ranking officials to offer SNC Lavalin a DPA instead of prosecution for repeated & sustained corruption AFTER the former AG had determined they were ineligible for such a deal. You lied about the above having ever taken place.
- You replaced Canada’s old F-18s with Australia’s old F-18s.
- Your bizarre love of all things Castro.
- You imposed tough regulations and taxes on oil from Alberta, Saskatchewan and Newfoundland but not oil from Saudi Arabia.
- Every new project has to undergo strict environmental assessments...except cement plants in Quebec.
- You said that a proposed pipeline must consider “the intersection of sex and gender with other identity factors” (what does that even mean???)
- You think older Canadians should be replaced. How is that moral?
- You chase foreign companies (and their investment capital) out of the country like they have the plague.
- You chased our WW1 soldiers out of our national anthem... lest we forget.
- You continuously use identity politics...then complain about identity politics.
- You forgot Alberta was a province.
- You called small business owners “tax cheats”.
- People voice concern over money spent on illegal immigration and you call them intolerant racists.
- We have an equalization program, but you give half of it to one province.
- You spent $8 million on a skating rink (vanity project) when Canada's largest skating rink is 500 meters away.
- You added tens of billions added to the national debt while lying to Canada's face about it.
- You groped a woman and when caught - laughed about it (MacLean's interview) and said she experienced it differently.
- You elbowed a female MP while dragging another MP by the arm in a petulant huff.
- You renamed Fishermen to "Fisher-folk"
- Peoplekind? (international embarrassment)
- You got India to invest $250 million in Canada but we have to invest $750 million in India first.
- You compared returning ISIS terrorists to Italian immigrants and said they will be an extraordinary powerful voice for Canada.
- You let terrorists keep their Canadian citizenship.
- You spent $212,234 on artwork for the cover of the 2017 budget report.
- You think Canada is 100 years old instead of 150.
- You spent upwards to $348,000 on food and alcohol in five flights on our government’s plane. On your G20 trip to Argentina, you spent $103,000 on food and alcohol alone. How is that even possible?
- You gave Canadian taxpayers' money to Hamas.
- You voice outrage over fake racist attacks and say nothing about real terrorist attacks.
- You took 10 vacations in a single year. Who does this??
- You spent a little over $1.5 million on the trip to India that did nothing but worsen ties. Plus paid over $17,000 to bring an Indian chef to India to cook Indian cuisine. And to top it off, invited a convicted attempted assassin to dinner and posed for pics with him.
- And you’re the only PM convicted of ethics violations. (multiple times in fact)
- You allegedly destroyed the career of one of Canada’s honest military leaders to cover up possible massive corruption in ship building contracts.
- You invited Joshua Boyle, an alleged perpetrator of sexual assault and unlawful confinement for a photoshoot in the Office of The Prime Minister.
- You threaten to sue the leader of the opposition then chicken out when you realized that your alleged crimes will be exposed in court.
- You offer over $600 million dollars in subsidies to failing mainstream media outlets if they can prove to be trustworthy. You put a union who vows to destroy your opposition in charge of selecting these new “trusted” sources to receive funding. You could school the Russians in election interference.
- You pay off your friends to engage in election ads for you and get Elections Canada to pay for it.
- $200 million to Loblaws for new refrigerators.
- You made public statements of deep admiration for Chinese communism.
- You wore preposterous, inappropriate costumes during a state visit to India, paid for by Canadians.
- What moral, functioning Canadian human could possible justify voting for you?
- As well SNC, interference with Justice and Bombardier ripped off Cdn.Tax Payers for 47 Million Dollars.

Bring on the election!

Silly Season Approaches

A federal election looms, and while I've been dreading the campaigning gibberish--not to mention seeing Justin Trudeau on the news more than we usually do--this landed in my Inbox this morning.

I'd be a happy camper if only a third of it were true.
Over the last year, it's frankly been hard to find anyone who admits to having voted for Trudeau.
More importantly, people are saying "he has to go, even if a monkey were running against him."

Oh dear, but Andrew Scheer is no monkey.
Anyway, here's what arrived this morning:

" True??

-will end government handouts or corporate welfare for companies like Bombardier
-will change the Criminal Code to make it easier to convict people accused of human trafficking, end automatic bail for those charged with trafficking, make those convicted serve consecutive sentences for each victim rather than concurrent terms - will also fund police, survivor services and public awareness to fight human trafficking

-will abandon Trudeau’s plan for front-of-package nutrition labelling
-will cut Trudeau’s funding of the UN’s Relief and Works Agency which is a Palestinian group listed as a terrorist organization in Canada "

No idea what is--and isn't--correct about Andrew Scheer's platform, even in established publications.
But something MUST change in this country.

Getting rid of the bumbling and stumbling Justin Trudeau is an excellent start.

'Nuff said.

Trudeau's Machinations

and fabrications...

This anonymous "dialogue" was in response to an individual who was complimenting the Liberal government generally, and Justin Trudeau specifically, on "their progress for Canada".

"...a personal beef with some of the Twitter feed from Justin et. al. about how Gov has put more money into the pockets of Canadians.

WHAT a BS artist.

For the hell of it and with time on my hands I went and looked at the “Current and capital accounts – Households, Canada, quarterly” report with numbers from Q2 2018 to Q2 2019.

It’s the report about Household Disposable Income and Household Net Saving (way, way, below is an image of the report so that people can add and subtract to get StatCan numbers – in the interim, I tirade)(sic).

My own Questions and Answers, per the above over the past 5 Quarters (%’s are vs. Household Disposable Income):
1. Did Gov put more money in your pocket in benefits or whatever?
No, not really. From “General Government” it increased a paltry 0.1% (17.7% to 17.8%).
——————-
2. Did Gov take more money out of your pocket in taxes?
A BIG Yes. From “To General Governments” taxes increased by 1.6% (30.9% to 31.5%). DOUBLE what they gave you – THIMBLERIG.
——————-
3. Are Canadians putting more money in their pockets?
No. The Household Saving Rate ranges from a mediocre 1.7% to a catatonic 0.9%.
——————-
4. Are Canadians buying more stuff and how are they paying for it?
Yes (not shown in my image below but about $172.5 billion Q2 2019). How are they paying for it all, see the last line in the image.
https://i.imgur.com/7wrDUmZ.jpg

Now all of you will be able to actually add & subtract on your own using the layout challenged report itself:

https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/t1/tbl1/en/tv.action?pid=3610011201

Still, good on StatCan they publish data like this. I bitch a lot about them but in the end, there is data.

—————————————————–
CONCLUSION about Justin et. al. Twitter “more money in your pocket” Tweets:
So full of dung, his eyes will be brown by October (if not sooner).   …pants on fire.

Another subject that he Tweets about is how the Liberals are SO responsible for how well the economy is doing.

In fact, he had the gall to say GDP is growing at 3.7%.

Well, I Tweeted back:
1. An image from the BNN poll basically asking do you think that 3.7% number is BS? 80% of Canadians replied they did (1,150 respondents).

2. Reminded him that the last 5 Quarters of GDP growth have been between 1.3% and 1.5%, no screaming hell, if anything below average.

3. Reminded him the 3.7% number was StatCan taking the Q2 2019 GDP growth rate and multiplying by 4 to annualize it (they published 0.9% for the quarter, 0.9% x 4 does not equal 3.7%, but WTF, there it is).

4. I asked him if HE EVEN READS HIS OWN Gov Reports?
‘Cause if he did he’d know that he is:
SO full of dung that flies are hovering over and around him and I ended with my usual “liar, pants on fire”.

Funny thing, NO PUSH BACK from his devoted followers; though."

"T2 is likely smokin' a little too much of the stuff he legalized," Kia would've said.

Probably.
