Two "Delicious" Rocks

Discovered here on our property, but it's entirely reasonable they may not be from here.

No other rocks like the two have been discovered here during the substantial re-working of the property over the last 43 years (for various projects.)

Perhaps the sedimentary rock arrived here as a remnant of glacial till.

Rock hammer nearby, I was reluctant to try to break the layers apart...maybe soon.

The other, obviously metamorphic, has large crystals of quartz grains, and limestone clasts/breccia.

Is this rock a sign it underwent low-temperature metamorphism?

So darn interesting...

Nature's fine jewellery...

Rock hammer...check

Courage to use the hammer on these rocks...soon
