Foremost in people's minds is the virus.
Its threats permeate our every action and thought.
There's no doubt the virus, or the fear, is real.
None at all.
My daughter just phoned to say that "schools are closed indefinitely".
That has considerable implications for caregivers, not to mention learning voids for the youngsters.
Our grandson turns 6 in May, and Oma and Opa (us...) will pick up the caregiver slack as daughter and her husband are still at work...and who knows how long they'll be earning a wage?
I am so tired of politicians on TV.
So very tired of seeing and hearing them.
This morning it was Trump, followed by Trudeau.
Just a few short weeks ago I was angry at Trudeau's inability to solve the First Nations rail blockades.
He waffled and simpered.
While he's not waffling and simpering at the virus threat today, I still cannot stand to see him or hear him on television. I've had enough.
So it was with considerable interest I read...yes actually READ this scientific document on the CO-VID19 virus.
