Talking to Themselves

Sunday's Morning Star article entitled "RDNO looks at communications" quoted BX-Silver Star director Mike Macnabb saying "There are many issues the news media would like comment on...comments go out but they're not necessarily unified or solidifed or even appropriate."

The media?  Forget the media.
There's a pantload of questions the public would like answers to.
Beginning with:

Why do residents on the GVW utility pay twice what Kelowna residents pay for water?

Unified.
Solidified.
Appropriate.
Hmmm.

An answer is demanded by the public.

Even if it's divided, splintered or inappropriate.

"We want a clear message," says Macnabb.

"So does the public, minus the smoke and mirrors," suggests Kia.

Pity the communications manager that RDNO hires...despite the humongous salary they'll offer.

Truth is easy.
The prerequisite for lies is a thick coating of smoke, aided by mirrors.
