I had offered to trade my summer for his.
But he is looking forward to returning to school in September.
"Grade One, here I come", he said with a grin.
We have injected some Math and Reading into his summer activities, if only to gauge for ourselves that he hasn't forgotten his progress during the five "COVID" months he's been out of school.
But mostly, summer's been fun.
